Come join Wild Selkie Wellbeing and Julie Bradshaw-Drury for an afternoon creating art inspired by guided meditations and sound journeys that we will go on together.
Julie Bradshaw-Drury is an acclaimed artist with 40+ years experience. She likes to work in mixed media which allows her the freedom of combining many textures and materials to illustrate her art.
James Mead of Wild Selkie Wellbeing is an accredited Sound Bath Practitoner as well as artist and photographer. In his art, James likes to work in either encaustic wax art or using plant material and watercolour paint or a dying process to create naturally inspired images.
Tickets for the afternoon cost £30. Space is limited to just 5 people so booking is essential.
We will provide basic art supplies to use, but if there is a specific medium you like to work in please bring along your own equipment and tools. Art does not also need to be limited to just visual arts, some people may find they are inspired to write poetry, prose or song.
We have comfortable cushions and furs in Heron House to sit and lie on for the meditations and sound journey, but please bring a blanket and eye mask if you have one.
We will have fruit teas, squash, dark chocolate and a selection of fruits available.
